Winter stretches

This time of year we tend to exercise less and generally stay inside more.  So make sure to keep moving not only to avoid weight gain but to also keep yourself active!

Here are a few exercises you can do anywhere: home or even at the office!

1. Calf pushes-While seated push your heels up and point your toes.  Do 3 reps of 10 a couple times a day and you’ll keep your legs strong!

2. neck rotations-Simply look down and lower your chin to your neck.  Then slowly rotate your head in circles.  This will keep the blood moving and helps give a boost of mental energy.

3-Seated crunches-These are great to do at your desk.  Sit at the edge of your chair and  then crunch your knees and arms to your chest.  The is the same motion of a sit up on the floor, only difference is you’re seated!
